Pilots, aviation experts, and plane aficionados all agree that the first single-engine plane released by Piper Aircraft during July earlier this year marks a significant achievement for the flight industry. Revolutionary Cessna Citation Longitude

Overall, the aircraft industry reported a decline in business jets and airplanes delivered during the third quarter of 2016. The General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA) reported that 534 business aircrafts were shipped during that quarter, compared to the 542 that were shipped in the third quarter of 2015. However, there is one aviation company that is defying the trend. Textron Aviation has actually seen an increase in shipment of their Cessna aircrafts. In the third quarter of 2015 Cessna shipped 110 aircraft worth $452.9 million, while this year during the corresponding period Cessna raised that number to 129 aircraft worth $492.4 million.
